Has anyone ever noticed?

that when you try the sample mascara on in the store, it always works soooo much better than it does after you buy it and take it home? WHY??? lsajdflsafj. so annoying. i bought lorac mascara, and in the store it was fab. at home the next day, it was dry and flaky and gross. does this happen to other people?
