If this is love, then why does it hurt??

hmm...you must love him to even give it another try, but it sounds to me like he really isn't into it. these things happened when you guys weren't even together so he should just get over it. he should not ask you to change and you shouldn't have to earn his trust back, you didn't do anything to lose it in the first place. maybe he should change the fact that he's a total a*shole and everything might be okay. if i were you i'd just let him go...doesn't sound like he's worth your time. you deserve to be happy, not manipulated.
