Help with my Gold Penny Lab...?

I did the same lab... Number two is yes to the first part and i'm not sure about the second part (it depends of the amount to time). Sorry I don't understand question one but I think it is different because an item that you purchase would last longer (like a candlestick?). Good Luck!
