Is Christianity a killer of culture?

I'm just asking this because it seems kind of obvious to me. Christianity did a number is destroying the cultures of Native Americans. Just look at how Spanish Catholics almost erased the culture of the Aztecs and Incas in just a few decades. I once went to a Vietnamese church that instead of trying to preserve the heritage, let it die. It even discourage the learning of the Vietnamese language. Or am I just being bias. Have other religions did the same thing?
