A Levels (a2s) remark?

I had a conditional offer of ABB for both my firm and insurance choices. I got BBB today and was thus rejected by both. However, i was 3 and 4 UMS off an A in two subjects . Because of this I am tempted to send the papers for a remark considering some of my results I am convinced have been over-critically and poorly marked and an increase of only a few marks will give me the grades I require. However, my question is, if my papers are remarked and granted the necessary grades for my current university choices , wont it be too late if I have already be rejected, or will my universities reconsider their decision if the remarked paper come back with the correct grades for their conditional offers (Presumably the papers take a month to remark, by which time it is surely too late for these unis to slot me in) ?
