Siddhartha Shankar Ray: Why would he be remembered?

I find it difficult to criticize a man just deceased. If you ask this question after a few months, I would have a lot of answers. However, there is no denying the fact that he is the architect of Marxist rule in West Bengal, His actions ensured that the West Bengal population moved towards the Marxist and remained there for 30+ years.
