How much does an alligator lizard eat and when?

I just caught a hibernating alligator lizard from my yard. I bought a tank and filled it with dirt, rocks, plants, a log, and water. I own some frogs as well so i had a cage of crickets already and I fed it one. It ate it. But now I need to know how often to feed it and how much. Will it eat as much as it needs or will it over eat?
